This is my Mean Streak. I moved up from a Honda Shadow Ace 750. Two weeks before we were heading to California for our first big motorcycle trip my wife told me I needed a bigger bike, God bless her. She told me one thing, make sure it's the bike you *really* want. I had a short list of Harley V-Rod, Victory Kingpin, and the Mean Streak. I rode them all but the Mean Streak was the bike that did it. I managed to put 1500kms on before the trip, got it in for it's first service and the rest is history, 37,000kms later I'm still loving the bike.

Hello Bross,

I too just bought a new 03 Mean Streak. Wow, what an awesome bike.
I'm just finishing up the F& s light bar, Hint: use the picture, not the srittern instructions) install. I shopping for a windscreen and am curious about which one and what size is on your bike. At 6 feet, I'm definitley in the look over camp and ride with a full face helmet. Thanks in advance.

Hey Brent,
Look familiar?
Of course she looks a little different know, but every time I see that picutre of your bike I chuckle.
Great looking bike by the way, and that is a totally unbiased opinion.

Aren't "trikebubble" and "unbiased opinion" contradictory? It's OK though we live in different provinces. I kinda like the fact that there are no meanies around here (have only ever seen 1, an '02 orange), you get to ride a unique bike.

Jodie had the only Honda Shadow Spirit w/ purple flames around here and was quite proud. On our trip to California we stopped for a break in Idaho and what did we spot in the parking lot, Jodie's bike! A young guy owned it, had a hypercharger, pipes etc. He was very proud of it and was telling us all about it. He had to fire it up for us, man it was loud, Jodie was totally shocked "That's my bike?"

That be a nice MS, Bross. but don't you ever wish for a windshield up there in Canada? And what do you think about adding a better air breather. My Nomad 99 lacks O2 sometimes, and I like to add a Kuryilian breather perhaps.

Anyway, nice bike. The lines are for real.

look into Thunder air kits. they stick out less than the Kuryakyn does and offer better airflow. i have a Kuryakyn on my Nomad, and my leg leans up against it constantly. plus, Thunder has a bunch of different types. just a thought.

Thanks. Nah I really prefer riding without a shield, even on long trips, I just use mine when it's freezing but as soon as it warms up it's off the bike. And no I am perfectly happy with the performance, sound etc. I did switch to a K&N filter but that's it. I'm not much of a modder, Jodie did way more to her Shadow when she had it than I have to any of my bikes.
