I have a 1991 ninja, it kept killing the battery. i got a new battery. I charged the battery, but it still wont keep it charged. Im new at the street bike thing so please tell me what to look for or what it might be. thank you

its gonna be one of two things
1. regulator/rectifier
OR
2. stator
look in your manual and it will tell you how to check both.

Just out of curiosity - over what period of time was the battery going dead on you? Days/weeks or months.

Its important also when you get a new motorcycle battery to charge it for 24 hours prior to installation.
