It's a bad news/good news thing.

Yes I've sold Emmie, my green and white '04 1500 Classic. To a guy who used to have a 1500 Classic but sold it a while back. He liked the bike, was impressed with the maintenance records and receipts, and bought it after looking it over for about an hour. So now, tho not bikeless, I no longer own a Kaw.

The good news? Tomorrow morning I will place the order for a Yami FJR1300, an 07. You can see one here 2007 Yamaha FJR1300A Video, video clips, movie, movies Yep, that will be me soon.

The FJR is an AMAZING bike, I have a friend whose parents own several bike shops (Yamaha and Honda) and her father rides one.

I rode one, and was actually quite impressed with the handling, power, and stability it has.

The windshield still weirds me out though. Those things shouldn't move.

Thanks all!! I am excited- I've been lusting for an sport tourer for years and it's finally gonna happen!! Placed the order this morning, it'll be ready in about 10 days.

I didn't get a drop-dead-fabulous price, but the stealer will not charge freight, destination, setup & prep. We're still negotiating other stuff as well.

(P/S: cant possibly beat the price tag of US$30k back where i come from, right?)

So, did you also look at the ST1300 and C14? If so, what was it that made you decide on the FJR? Our oldest daughter is looking at sport touring motorcycles so I'd be interested in how you came to prefer the FJR
