I found a nail in my rear tire on my Ninja 500. Should I spring for a new tire now??

I was thinking of getting a new tire before I found this. I'd like something a little fatter (it's 130). Any negatives to putting a fatter tire on?

if you were already thinking of buying a new tire..."justification is an evil thing"...that's the motto I live by...that and "protect me from what I want"...I find that these two will get me through life most effectively.
As far as the new tire size...sorry, no clue how it will effect the performance, but I am sure someone else knows.

new tire and only go one size bigger cause you will loose the right shape if you go bigger and it may not stay on the rim if its too wide.

New tire, preferably same size unless you think your bike turns too easily.lol
