I have a 2007 nomad 1600 recently it started making a ticking noise while the bike is running . Know when I pull in the clutch it stops does any one have a suggestion . THANK YOU......

What grade of fuel do you use ?

check all your fluids....mine ticks at first till it gets all the oil pumped up through the engine.....as stated before bad gas could be another reason

Call me old fashioned, but I would think that if it goes away when you pull in the clutch, that it is clutch related. But, what do I know. I'm just the 800lb gorilla in the room.

Are you running the recommended oil? At one point I added 20-50 to my ride and the engine ticking and the transmition clunk became louder so after about 1000 miles on that oil I went back to factory recommended oil and it all stoped.
