Sunny,
Sorry to hear about your problems, I had bought an 02 750, and then traded up to an 03 Mean Streak both new form the same dealer. In my opinion, that's a pretty poor attitude from the salesperson and the dealer. I did not have any fit or finish problems. The 750 is a great bike. There is an assembly process at the dealership. Did you get a copy of the assembly checklist? My salesperson went over every single item on this list with me with both bikes. His laughing at you is very [poor behavior. I hope you didn't sign an " as is" form. It's unfortunate that this dealer, sales and service, seems not to have the best customer service attitude. You can try the owner/manager and/or the Kawasaki dealer territory rep. Another option is to find another dealer.
Sercvice doesn't have to be done where the bike was purchased. I woould recommend you use the VN750 group on Yahoo which is very active and a great resource for all things 750.
Some of your items should have been checked and adjusted during the assembly process. You do need to be fairly firm on the clucth. Let us know what gets resolved. Good luck.
