Hey guys....I'm obviously new and don't know too much about bikes. I received this coil-over shoch with a bulk lot of auto parts. It is marked Kawasaki on one side and KYB on the other....no other part numbers. KYB said it was a Kawasaki part...Kawasaki says they can't ID it (or won't?). It says nothing more but appears to be for a street bike. Here are some pics and any help would be appreciated.

Visually, it's a match for my 636 shock, but the wrong color. So at a guess, I'd say it was for an earlier model 636, or a zzr600. You'll probably need an actual eye to eye measurement to be sure however, as almost every model uses a different shock. It's not like the 'one size fits many' auto industry.

What year is your 636?
