Hello, everyone! My name is Justin and I just bought my new 95 Kawasaki EX250 a couple days ago. I have had no prior experience on dirtbikes and scooters so, I decided to get the EX250. It's a pretty sharp bike and it has some get up and go! Since I just got it, it isnt insured, licensed or anything like that, nor am I licensed  But don't worry! I'm getting the plates and insurance this weekend and I'm going to get my learners permit. So far, I'm a enjoying the 250 and I think I'm changing from a Yamaha guy to a Kawasaki guy. (I still like Honda, those are nice bikes.) Just saying whats up to everyone and hopefully, I'll get to ride a ZX-6R next summer. I'll be saving all my money for that bike.

Well, Ja for now.

Welcome to the FORUM!

Great to have you on board...MSF is a must for insurance and technique. They will teach you theings htat are basic to survival but everything that they teach is on a seperate course and on the road. The highways and streets are a serious place where you can get hurt even if you are a professional rider. Most of the riders will tell you to ride your bike like you are invisible to all the other traffic. I have to agree with that, and the fact that some do see you they just KNOW that you can maneuver faster, brake shorter and take way to much of an advantage on the road...sometimes they just misjudge your abilities, and theirs...especially the people that have depth perception problems...ride as safe as you can...riding a bike our first several years is a learning curve, and it will help to keep your insurance down when you are ready to ride a 600.
