A quick intro - We live in NZ and have just bought a 2003 VN1600 Classic. Last bike was a Suzuki VL800 but the VN became available at a really good price and couldn't pass it up. Wife now rides the VL800 and we are selling her VS800.
Only had the VN a few days but very pleased with it. Heavier than I'm used to so will be taking it easy for a bit.
Can't fault it except that the exhaust tone/volume are a little tame - have heard that the 2004 is a bit better and doesn't have the 'Goat Bladder'.
Will be checking member reviews on this and on windshields as that will also be a priority for me.
