An Ultra smashed into a wall, even at low speed = an ouchy at so many levels 😕. Riding doesn't come naturally to everyone, on many levels it's a lot like riding a unicycle. One can't expect to get it right the first or second or even third times.
Thankfully, I only crunched the front fender. Oh yeah, I broke my arm. But, I only crunched the front fender!!!! Picked up a new one for under $50
I agree with you, it either does or it doesn't. The thing one has to remember even if they are a new rider, is you are going to dump, crash, drop, whatever at least once in your life. Easier to get it done and over with when you first start out. It hurts a hell of a lot less. LOL
