Power of a bike is mesured in many ways...Cubic Centemeters (cc) or CID Cubic Inch Displacement , only gives you the displacement in volume. Power is rated different fron Horse Power, Torque, Kilowatts...however you or what ever you want it is not a measurement of volume...Power to weight ratio is a awesome situation / equasion though...a kart has more power t weight ratio than a car, or truck, some aircraft have not enough power to fly straight up, even jet aircraft, but then again there are aircraft aht can go straight up (Vertical). Power to weight in bikes is awesome and that is what gets some people in trouble...the power isn't immediate and ther is a power lag...when it kicks in and you are not ready for it you can be in real deep trouble even before that. sometimes it is used on purpose though...say you are coming out of a turn and you feel the front wheel off the ground and as you continue to lean it touches down...you open the throttle slowly and by then you are back upright and the wheel starts coming off of the ground again...turbo lag, supercharger lag...even throttle or RPM lag till you reach the powerband...and it takes off ...
