Hi,
I'm new to this forum and just wanted to get in touch with other Vulcan owners. I moved up from a 800 a model to a 2002 1500 fi Classic and really like it so far. The bike had only 770 miles on it and was in as new condition, totally stock. So far all I've done is add a K&N air filter. I've ordered a 19" X 22' wide windshield from rifle that should be in next week. my only concern is that it's not to tall. I had a19" memphis shades on my 800 and it was perfect. But the hardware for the 1500 classic was awful looking so I returned it and ordered the rifle. Does anyone out there have the 19' rifle windshield and if so how do you like it? Thanks for your response.

Hello, I'm new here as well...

About your 19" shield, I was wondering how high it stood in relation to your line of sight ? I have the large Kaw shield on my little Vulcan 500, but I'm thinking about going with a smaller shield ...

i have a 19" on my 800b also and its perfect -i'm 6'1" in a mustang solo seat
line of sight is just over the top edge but i do get a little head buffeting even with the lowers on.i would think it will be ok,but you can always cut it down if its not

ride safe!

hey lonestar.i live 70 miles south west of you.i have the 04' 1500 classic w/ a ms 19" it would have been to short accept i changed out my stock seat w/ a corbin and it sets lower than the stock which makes the 19" just right.my eye sight is just over the shield. :) welcome to the board..
