Hello All, I am new to the community. I've recently acquired four project Kawasaki's; 1979 KZ650 B-3, 1982 KZ750 LTD, 1985 ZL900 Eliminator, & a 1987 ZL1000 Eliminator. All four motorcycles are running, but they still need LOTS of work & T.L.C. I have many questions, since I am not an experienced motorcycle mechanic. Unfortunately, I suffer easily from information overload, when I start researching online. I get confused very quickly. Being in my early 50's, I'm used to "in-person learning" (I guess). Please forgive me if I ask the same question more than once in different forums. I LOVE my Kawasaki's!!!! They are so much fun to ride, not so much fun to work on (sometimes...). So you scored a Kawi 4-pack. That's awesome!

I completely understand information overload particularly because you can get conflicting information on the internet.

My advice would be to get your hands on Kawasaki service manuals for all of your bikes. That should be the foundation and first source of information for your repairs. When the manual is not clear, or does not cover when you need to know, then turn to reputable sources like this site 😁 (shameless promotion).

Your will find there are quite a few experienced members on this forum who are willing to lend a hand and help out other riders who love their Kawasakis. Best of luck!

I inherited an 82 kz750 ltd as well. In the process of redoing carbs. 6k on it. Can't wait to ride it. Welcome! These guys are a plethora of knowledge. Get a book
