Just found this forum and thought I'd say hi.
I've got a 2000 ZX-12R, red, yellow box, Akrapovic full exhaust, -1 tooth countershaft sprocket, BMC street filters, a 40 hp dry shot of nitrous, and 9,300 miles. I bought the bike new, it runs excellent, and I love it.
Are there any more 12 owners on this site?

welcome and wow is all i got to say as in respect. i think my 500 is fast but a zx12 with nos. i am considering a 40 shot or so for my 500 which would make it almost as fast as a stock zx12.

I have no idea whatsoever how to post pictures on the internet.
I'm 49 years old (oldest person in Bismarck,ND riding a crotchrocket), 5'8" tall, and weigh less than 160 lbs fully dressed. I guess my weight makes a difference in the performance of my bike. I usually don't use the nitrous until 4th gear when I'm going about 140 mph. When I push the button the front tire starts to come off the ground, not much, but I can feel it just skimming the pavement. I guess I love the feeling because I love straight line acceleration. I tried using the nitrous in 2nd gear one time (only 1 time!) and I was instantly looking at the sky. You have to be careful and know when to use it. It's well worth it. Where else can you get an instant 40 hp for under $400 ?

I thought of a nitrous hook up for my ZRX 1100...pondering some mods, just not sure, might go with a turbo, but then again thats big buck$...isnt a nitrous hard on the motor?
