My name's John and i'm from Richmond, KY. I'm new to cycles, currently i'm in the process of buying my first one, a 2002 Ninja 500R. If you guys have any advice as far as riding and maintenance, please, lemme know. I'm always looking to learn something new! 8)

Good place to start is in a MSF training course and a service manual. Get a good helmet and riding gear in case you make friends with the pavement. Above all else just have fun!

Another rider from God's Country. I'm in Versailles - you live in Richmond so you know where that is - 12 miles west of Lexington for you heathens out there! 8)

Good bike choice, I rode to work today in Lexington, but the weather is getting more and more against doing so.
