I am a newbie to the Ninja owners team. I just purchased a 1992 250R, and it seems a little doggie right off the start. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of how to check my air filter. I would like to replace, but I can not figure out how to remove the old one. Also, can anyone point me in the direction of where to puchase, and maybe download an owner's manual?

Thanks,

wish I had the manual on hand, but your air filter (element as it's called in the manual) is underneath your seat. I suck at describing stuff like this, but it's right near the tip of your gas tank, where there's a black plastic thing (no idea what it's called), that has 2 holes in it. You have to remove all the bolts that are above that (bolts connecting the gas tank, the battery, etc) and you can get to the air filter underneath that plastic thing in the compartment there. Darn it sorry sucking with the descriptiions, if only I had my manual on hand. I'm sure someone can step in. I tried :D

and I don' tthink there's anywhere you can download an owner's manual, sorry, you're goin to have to buy one I think.
