Well after a 11 hour Friday at work I am tired and hungry, then I pull up in the driveway and there on the porch after only 2 days are my new pipes (speedster longs -w- power port). Suddenly I'm not so hungry and sooo not tired! I ordered them from Parts Direct for 457.00 with free shipping. Two days later they are on my porch! That is good service. I am leaving for a week so the install will have to wait.

Congrats and you're gonna love the longs!
My wife says there is something wrong with me because I snapped a picture of a package an posted it on the forum! Whatever; some are sicker than others!!!
Couple of things when/after your install:

#1 - Be patient with the brackets. They can be VERY frustrating. Have a couple of beers ready.

#2 - After installing the pipes, use chrome polish to get your fingerprints off before your first crank so that they don't get permanently imprinted - per the instructions. I used work gloves but still applied three coats just in case.

#3 - Take pics.
Thanks for the tips. I have used the bracket/ beer, bracket /beer method before, works well! These are going on my 07 900 classic. I'll will post pics (sharing is part of the experience)
congrats!:D
i hope to get a similar package this winter :D
Don't you love how UPS leaves stuff that large on your porch?
Don't make us wait for pics. Life can wait. Put the pipes on. Take pictures. Make a sound clip. We need happiness. :D

And at least I put the bike in my shot of the box my pipes came in. :p

FOUR:eek: now that sounds a lot like work;)

I don't know if this is connected but... last year I rode a 3 up chairlift while skiing and the "young men" next to me lit up a joint and offered me a toke, I politly declined an his partner said " You sure dude you know this is a two joint lift"
