don't know the 250r, only ridden one once. the 500r runs nearly a 12 second quarter mile @ 110ish/mph. the 250r should run a 14-15 second at about 80-90/mph.
thats just my guesstimations from the one I've ridden, getting up to 60 took FOREVER. but I was playing nice since it wasn't my toy.
