Hello Everyone,

I have a 2003 Ninja 500 and am trying to find out what years are compatible for body parts. I am looking to purchase rear side panels from a 1996 Ninja 500. The parts "look" compatible but I really don't know for sure.

Any help would be appreciated ...

94+ are all the same. You'll have to paint them most likely, but thats about it.

Sorry to bring this one up again, but I wanted to make sure this compatibility for 94 and up models includes the Fuel Tank? I ask because I’m looking to purchase one that the seller says is 94-99 compatible, and my bike is a 2003. Do you think it will work?

I'd say yes. Usually people just don't update. Like a site will say 94-01 and then just not update it, but the bike hasn't changed.
