Had the bike on its center stand and was washing rear rim. As I was turning the well either something from the chain or inner hub or the rear wear was making a noise almost like a chattering. Nothing extremely loud but I don't think I have heard this before when washing.

Whats do you guys think?

noise

After riding several miles and the chain is all warmed up lay some newspapers down and lube the chain and let it set overnight. Make sure that you have the proper amount of chain slack/sag, and make sure that your alignment, rear wheel is right on spot. Brakes will sometimes do exactly what you mention too but that should be fairly normal. Make sure that you lube any and all places shown in the service manual. you do have bearings but unless you have bunches of miles on the bike... It doesn't cost anything to ask questions, well maybe a pepsi or something nice for asking the mechanic to listen to the noise you have...Just let us know what you find...that is what the forum is for as well.
