Is there any cruise control aftermarket kits available for the Nomad?

there are a few from vista cruise to the breakaway. i personally like the look and finish of the break-away but it is a bit pricey which is the only thing stopping me from ordering it. i cannot justify putting the vista cruise on my bike, just doesn't look right.

I have a vista throttle lock on my bike and yes it is ugly but I like it. I rode this past saturday and to be able to lock the throttle in and take my hand off the grip for a few seconds to shake some blood into them was a hand saver. I don't use it all the time, just to give my hand a break.

all that matters is that you like it and it works for you. i had it on my first bike, a 1980 Suzuki GS850L, and even 20 years old it worked pretty good.

did you take a look at the price ?
not outrageous, but still a lot for such a small thing.

yeah, they are pretty proud of that little contraption, which is why I enjoy my lock so much.

yeah, with tax it was about 35 or so..i can stand its ugliness for that too

i tried nearly all the controls and did'nt like any of them
i'm stickin' with the ole throttle boss and callin' it a day :lol:

is there really that much improvement with the boss ? i have pondered getting one.

I chalked out the bucks for the breakaway. It works and looks great. It is a lot a cash but you normally get what you pay for. There is a lot of engineering that went into the design.

to me the boss helps alot-i can remove my hand from the grip and stretch
my fingers out while still controlling the throttle with the palm of my hand
and it works going uphill :lol: and cheap too 8)
