A friend of mine, that I ride with a lot, has a KZ1000P....I ride a 96 Vulcan classic in white. We both wear the same leather jaxkets and both wear white half helmets. Here in California, when we hit the freeway and ride close together, traffic slows down at least 20 mph. It's comical at times, but even more comical when they realize that we aren't cops and stab the gas.

Well, that's one way to add some safety to riding - look like police.

Of course you might also add some risk due to a few of the crazy types on the road.

Funny thing is that I almost bought a KZ1000P for 2800, but someone beat me to it. The next day I found my Vulcan for 2000. Even when I'm alone, I guess I look like a cop on an old Harley.
