Oil filter removal Vulcan Classic 1500

The smallest oil filter removal wrench that you can buy at the auto parts store is to big to remove the filter off of my Vulcan Classic 1500. Is there another tool that would be more suitable since I can't even resort to loosening it by hand? Thanks!

go to sears and get a oil filter strap wrench

craftsman part # 47064 :wink:
