OIL&FILTER

IF you are truely using great synthetic (100%) then you can get through changing the oil filter only every 5K miles...or if for some reason yu are sucking in to much garbage and it gets dirty then you might want to change it more often. 100% synthetics should be good for nearly 50K miles. ther is a test kit available, for a fee, with AMSOIL, that you can send in your oil samples and they will send you back the results. I did this on my car for 4 years then quit spending money on the samples. I change my filter every 5K and just top it off...changing the oil every 6 months instead of annually because I drive really hard and I have anywhere from 1.5 to 3.5 of severe dirt, silt roads, that sometimes have gravel on them. Check out several of the synthetic sites on 100% oils and you will see the differences between them. They make all sorts of synthetic greases, oils for airconditioners like on buildings...for use in aircraft engines...
