Boy once you start down this road is hard to stop.

I have not even gotten the first set of simple accessories in for Hidalgo
- Clear Altrnatives tail light and turn signals
- New set of mirrors

and I am already salivating for more.

I want a new set of HK pipes. With my 1200 Bandit, to add a new slip on I needed to rejet. The Bandit is a carbbed bike.

Are there any modifications I need to do to the Fi if I put a new set of pipes on?



I am new to the mechnical side of this great adventure

My "guess" would be you may need to add a Power Commander to help control fuel mixture settings.....and a K&N air filter.

just for pipes, no you don't need to do anything, but you won't take advantage of the full power gain potential. in order to do that, you would have to follow Whistle's advice and install a new intake and some kind of fuel management, like a Dynojet Power Commander. but if all you want is sound, then go for it, no worries.
