Seems we are being offered only the EX250 in the US. Therea are at least two other bikes out ther that are worth OUR time in writing to (via WEB) to Kawasaki in California about. the Canadians have a ZZR-250, not unlike our ZZR600 or EX250, and the UK has a ZXR-250 or ZZ-R250...anyway, the bikes have the 17" wheels like all other of our bikes and the ZZR-250 in Canada has a Great Looking Fairing. Sure your choice s Red or Black, but take a peek. The measurements and everything clearance, seat height is the same an dit uses the 17" tires and rims...can it be done yes, can we get them, NO! UNFAIR! Beartooth Kawasaki can't even get the Canadian bike! Cannot we have a FOURM where it is a write in to our Kawasaki -USA in California for this situation. Then again California has the only different bike in the 49 states becasue of the EPA/smog regulations...what's wrong with this picture...

The difference in prices between the Canadian ZZ-R250 and the ZZ-R500 is so minimal that there is practically no reason not to get the 500. I think it comes to like $400(ca) which is like $1.92(US).

ZZ-R250

Can't buy the ZZ-R250 in the US without the proper import papers...then getting parts is nearly impossible as well... It has an aluminum chassis 17" wheels...our ex250's have steel tube frames and 16" tires,,,oh and our fairing s and tail lights are not as nice as the ZZ-R250...Already chatted with the Ontario club (Canadian) and with Beartooth our Forum Sponsor...NO-GO, CANNOT even order them in the US of A.
