Here is a story about an over confident, cocky man. Who says your out of danger when your experienced? I really hate to see this kind of thing, but i hate it more whne poeple assume things about them and try to deny facts.

In this thread poeple seem to make remarks about the rider's skill. That's like a newbie saying that can handle a ZX-10R. you tell them about it fliping cause of a dip in the clutch, they'll tell you they will brake. That's the thing, they can talk all they want, but what happened is what happened, know one knows if he was a good rider or bad, but they sure can peck anyway at it can't they?


Anywho, you guys don't really have to listen to me,I'm just upset and pissed.

He wasn't wearing a helmet. I wonder if that had any influence on the outcome. The article does not give many details of what may have caused it besides speed.

No helmet, also the article never says the man is experienced. I know lots of people who didn't start riding until the middle of their lives. He already had factors weighting against him. (ie. no helmet)

yeah, lotso f middle aged beginner riders, I saw one on the way home from work on a brand spankin new mean streak...I know he's a beginner because he stalled the bike at one light while we were talking...and at another one he put his feet down going a good 25 mph still

But yeah, I don't know why it says 40 yo experienced rider.

1. he had no helmet
2. longer stopping time thanks to the passenger
