Ebay and others asked for a pic of these pipes so here it is.
Sorry it took so long but it gets dark so early. (I took this picture at work this morning)

Scoot's looking real good, John.

I love the looks of a 2-1 pipe.
I agree, it is a pretty slick looking ride.
but the 2 into 1's just dont do it for me. looks funky. I like the look of the
double pipes.
2 into1 aside, a very nice ride ya got there :)

I didn't like the looks as well as some other pipes either at first.
Now I'm glad I got these, for several reasons.
1. performance, no 2-2 can match 2-1.
2. Sound, try to get that low 4" can sound out of some 2-2's, no way.
3. Weight, saves about 12 lbs or more vs. some others.
4. When 94% of others have 2-2 pipes these are a breath of fresh air...
5, Much less passenger burnt shoe marks.

Performance isnt why I got my 9. I did all that when I was younger, now I just wanna cruise.

So far I like the note I got out of my baffle mod. next year might get some Cobras, Ive heard them in person, and thier sound is just what im looking for.
3. Weight, saves about 12 lbs or more vs. some others.
I got a bike that goes a good 600lbs w/fluids, 12 lbs is less than the difference between a short trip over to Baraboo and a haul up north for the weekend.

True, but... well, I dont want to write a whole paragraph, lol

I ride solo

All great reasons to love a 2-1, I just wanted to respond to them :)
I think I might not mind a 2-1 so much if they could come up with a way to reduce them to 1 with a little smoother line. the way they collect into 1 is just to abrupt.
My old 750F had a 4-1 and they blended in real well, looked like a car header.

Plasma...I hate to ask but I have to. How much money do you wrapped up in your 900? It seem like you have every mod made for (and not made for) the custom.

dude i gotta know what kinda seat that is. It looks like a classic seat but you this is custom right? thanks
It's an LT seat on my custom. I use if beacuse I wanted to mod it to make it more comfy for my wife. I switch back & forth all the time to the stock one.

I have about $3000 in extra stuff, and about $3000 in wish lists.

Not that bad if you consider I saw a Nomad with a $3600 paint job.....

Ok I have a question. What did it do to the sound of the bike? Louder, quieter, or about the same. What diffrence did they make in the pitch? Deeper or higher?

The reason I ask is I keep see sawing back and forth whether to get some or not. Thanks!

What mods if any did you do to make it fit? theres all this talk about how the Classic seat wont fit the Custom, and vise versa. one guy even said the custom fender is narrower than the classic, thats why it wont fit. i dont believe that one. lol

I had the Cobra 2:1 HP's on my 2007 VN900 Classic and one of the down sides was it made my NationalCycle Hardbags look smaller than when I had the Stock pipes on the bike. I really did like the sound of them though.

By the way... if you want to see a list of mods that others had done to their 900's take a look at an old thread:

http://www.kawasakimotorcycle.org/forum/kawasaki-cruisers/29808-you-happy-mods-youve-done.html

At the time of the thread i had about 80 mods in on the 900. At the time I traded it in (about a month ago) I had 105 mods on that bike.
See some pics...

1 Way,way louder than stock, a little louder than my drilled F&R baffles.
2. Much much lower (deeper) at least 2 octaves!

I posted this a long time ago, you could search my mod post on the seat to see all the things I did to it.
To make it fit just ship up the bracket with a couple washers... pretty simple.
