Hey, all I am getting back into the riding scene so I recently bought a 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic. It has just over 8500 miles on it. I purchased it in March 2021. Been riding it may be a few days a week. Had it sitting for about 5 days a week ago, went to start it, and nothing. It would crank, but no full start. I ended up draining the battery and recharged it. I changed the spark plugs. Still nothing. I also sprayed starter fluid into the air intake and the cycle would start up but then die off quickly. I am leaning towards a bad fuel pump, maybe? That leads me to my title. When I bought the bike it came with the Power Commander. I thought maybe this went bad and could be also causing the bike not to start up. I took it off, then tried to crank up the bike again, but now no cranking at all. The speedometer light comes on the horn works, but when I push the start button, complete silence. So I tried to put the commander back together. I took a photo of the wires, but when I connected everything again, still nothing when I push the start button. Could I have not connected the PC III TPS Signal Wire Tap, would that cause any issues, or something else?

Make sure the small Black wire is connected to the Battery terminal as this is the units Ground wire and it won't work with out it connected..
Also the Wire Tap they supply is imho not fit for purpose, I always hard wire it by splicing in but regardless this connection should not stop the Bike starting.
