I'm looking for a complete engine gasket kit for a 1985 kawasaki zx900. Do you have a p/n also? I checked the microfiche but it was unclear to me. Also, how much for shipping to 60410?

Thanks,
Matt

Hello and welcome to the forum!

We will need your engine number to obtain the correct parts, for there was some mid year changes. Let us know, thanks.
I am Quiktrp's Dad, the gasket kit is for my GPZ900 1985.
S/N# of motor is ZXT00AE021099

I have noticed that there are differances in shifter seal sizes as well. Maybe like you mentioned the s/n will straighten this all out.

Thanks, Dave

Thanks Jake. The info on this seal is for the shifter push rod:
92049-1017
Oil Seal, SD-8187 - $6.20

I need the shifter seal, but I heard it has two sizes. I need the larger O.D. size. The I.D. is around 12.70mm and the O.D. of the old seal measures right around 22mm

The seal below is the smaller shifter seal I cant use but is the right tag number in the microfiche.
92049B SKU: 92049-1186
SEAL-OIL,TB13205

Do you have the correct p/n and price for that?

My s/n on the motor again is:ZXT00AE021099
1985 GPZ900

Thanks again, Dave

Dave,

That is the only number it shows for the seal requested. Atttached is the diagram we have.
Ok thanks, I even checked the year before and after and same number.
Thanks for looking it up for me.

Ok I found a seal. It ends up being a 12 x 22 x 7 seal. I purchased it from https://www.motionindustries.com/
I put it in and it fits perfect. It went for $2.30. This is good info for those that come up with my problem.

Dave
