I'd say start a new thread but this ones that short you may as well carry on here.
We need loads more info before proffering an opinion on your issue.
  1. Age of Bike ?
  2. Mileage ?
  3. Servive History ?
  4. Any work carried out lately leading up to the proble you have ?
  5. Exactly what is happening ?
That'll get the ball rolling.

After you get all the pertinent information and post it, you could try and using a big of starter fluid, with the Red Tube attached to the tip, to see if you can pinpoint any intake leak, which would get worst when the bike is hot. You do this with the tip pointed right at the intakes, in little spots all over to try and isolate any suction, and see if the rpm's go up. You don't just spray the whole carb bodies. :)

hey so it’s a 05 mean streak. But it was my grandpas bike before he passed, when he had it, it ran and rode fine up until the rod bearings spun. I got a good deal on a classic motor unknown mileage and year. They are both 1600. This isn’t the first motor I’ve had to put in this thing since he’s passed. But this one has the idle issue. I’ve switched throttle bodies and still no results. It still runs after it gets warm it just revs up after it does get warm

So it would seem that once the engine is warm, the idle shoots up to 3000 RPM. Sounds like a vacuum leak.
This would also explain why it won't start when it is warm (needs choke to add extra fuel to overcome lean condition from vacuum leak).

Let's hope he will do as you suggested. An unlit propane torch works quite well also. Note - all of this should be done outside.

Mind you it is unnerving to hear an engine screaming at 3000 RPM while you try to detect a change in RPM.
If it will stay running with the choke on, that should lower the RPM to something more reasonable.

This video shows how its done.

It does start after it’s warm. That’s not an issue. But how big does the air leak after to be to rev up that high.
