I've done 2 adjustments of the gas gauge so far. After the first adjustment the low fuel light came on at a little less than half a tank. Safe to say I moved the needle too far. I pulled in to a gas station immediately and readjusted the needle to just before the redline on the fuel gauge. I filled the bike up and started to ride. I filled the tank to the same level that I always do and the needle went up and stopped at "F". I rode for almost 50 miles and the needle fell down to almost half a tank again. It seems like I just set it back to where it was from the factory.

My question is... Can someone who has successfully adjusted the gas gauge needle tell me how far above the "F" does the needle go when you fill the tank?

I think they vary from bikre to bike. Keep trying, I know it's frustrating!

I gave up with the fuel gauge. Never had one before so I am use to looking at the miles.
