I have an ex500 and i have cobra f1 pipes on it right now and i like the sound, but am looking into switching into a 2 into 1. Most likely muzzy. But want to know is will i get flat spots? and if i do get them how hard would it be to fix?

and what causes the flat spot?

if its that bad that you ACTUALLY FELL the flat spot then you need to jet it better.
flat spots are where the bike either goes RICH or LEAN (would only see which one it is if you have a DYNO with an EGA machine attached)
if you buy the pipe and buy the jet kit and follow directions you should have no problems
