I have a oil leak from the external oil hoses, the leak is at the banjo bolts/hoses that connect to the crankcase on my 1997 Classic 1500. The manual says I have to remove the motor and then remove the rocker box covers in order to replace the external oil lines.

IS THIS TRUE?....or is it possible to remove the lines at each cylinder with the motor in the bike. I can't believe thaat Kawasaki would design a bike that made you remove the motor just to replace the external oil lines.
