So i got a new set of turn signals for chritsmas and went to put them on, the bike (1995 vn800) has 2 wires, black with a yellow strip and gray, and the turn signals have a green, red, and black wire so i hooked up black to black and yellow and red to gray, they worked fine, after i assembled the bike back together they wouldnt work, blown fuse. Okay so whatever i change it and go to try it again and it blows... again and again and again. Dont know what to do, took multimeter readings and i have them but dont know what they mean, please help

Sounds like the bike is wired for running lights and turn signals, but the lights you got are only signal lights. 2 filament bulbs (1157) - 1 filament bulb (1156). Most bikes have combo light at the front and single lights in the back. but I have seen some use the signal lights as brake, running, signal lights with no tail light assy.
