hello everyone,

I found a guy selling a bike in canada and i wanted to know if you could register the bike in the states.

Yep, I've heard people talk about conversion kits. I think they are dealer provided for some bikes. That would probably be your best resource.

what exactly needs to be converted? Emissions comes to mind but what else?

CONVERSIONS

You would have to see the Laws for Motorcycles in Kansas to believe what I would tell you... The list of statutes is very minimal. basically a headlight, tail light, and a frame serial number, horn...very basic...AND we have NO inspections. EXCEPTION is that if you bring in a new/used bike for a license plate you must have the above headlight, ... and some form of Proof of insurance...if you do not intend to run it on the road (like an ATV you don't even have to title it, insure it or anything...
