New problem with Storm (my bike) Storm is a 1979 kz 1000 b and when I got him he was is sad shape. I have spent the last year and a half tring to put him back into the bike that he should be. In his day he was one of the fastes prodution bikes on the market. he has a header but I don't think that he was rejetted. what size jets should he have. I.m SO learning how to work on this bike and yes I have a manual.

You don't mention if the rest of the bike is stock, and if the 4-1 is open or has a baffle.

Typically with a 4-1 pipe and pod filters, you'd want a 17.5 pilot jet and 112.5 or 115 main jet. You might need to raise the needle - but on those carbs, the needles only have one clip notch, so that means little shim washers.

We have all those parts on the shelf.
