What year is your bike? If it has the stock exhaust and all you did was remove the end cap or butt plug that was not the spark arrestor. The spark arrestor is built into the exhaust. Kind of a turbine looking thing. If your bike is a 49 state model it should not affect the bike. In fact it might give you a little more power. If you have a California model like I do, taking the butt plug out can possibly make the bike run like crap. I know taking out the snorkel from the air filter made my bike bog down. I did the jet kit, removed the cover on my airbox and put on a new pro circuit exhaust. My bike kicks *** now.
