Are you talking about the helmet locks under the side of the seat? The seat lock locks the seat down where it cannot be removed with out unlocking it. Keeps battery where it should be, instead of in someone else’s bike!

Ok, I definitely win the prize for dumbest question of all time, but here goes..... What are my seat locks for? This is the first bike I've owned that actually had them, and the don't really lock anything, let alone the seat. What are they there for?
