Here's what I have posted online locally on craigslist:

I bought this bike last April and spent every weekend until early September getting it ready & SAFE for the road. I have put alot of time, money, & effort into getting this bike running. It has an A2 Standard VIN number, but has been modified to a B2 LTD. The serial number on the engine does not match the frame (not the original), done this way before my ownership.
I have invested over $2000.00 in parts, and have the receipts to prove it. Quite a few parts I acquired off here on eBay. Front & Rear calipers have been rebuilt with new seals, brake pads and all. New: Dunlop 404's, o-ring chain, front & rear sprockets, grips, clutch cable, speedo cable, tach cable, battery, steering bearings/races/seals, stainless steel (engine covers) allen bolt set, spark plugs, plug wires, spark plug boots, and pod air filters (also on crankcase breather). Custom made: front turn signal stems, tank fuel outlet, carb idle adjust knob, center stand stop bracket & exhaust bracket, and battery cables. Turn signals are from '81 or '82 model KZ1100 Spectre; Front brake master cylinder is from an '81 KZ1000 J1 model; both are 'eBay specials'. Kerker 4 into 1 exhaust. All switches on the handlebars are in good working order. Both the electric & kick starters work great. I have a spare swingarm for the bike, minus pivot shaft & bearings.
There is over $300.00 invested in the carbs, done at a local shop here. Completely gone thru, mains done to 122.5, & synchronized.
Nothing has been done to the engine internally since I got the bike. It runs and I have left it at that. Might be needing a top end in the future, but since I picked up a new bike she's gonna get less attention. She's got a couple minor oil leaks, typical of these old KZ's, they're just "marking their territory".
I have put approx. 1500 miles on this bike since getting it on the road. Rode it from the Tulsa, OK area over to Fayetteville, AR and back for Bikes, Blues, & BBQ last month in October. She runs good, and typical to these old bikes, is cold natured and must be warmed up. Bikes gets anywhere from 28-37 MPG depending on driving habits. I also have the paint codes if interested.
There is some road rash or something on the stator cover, not sure how it got there, was before my ownership. No other signs of ever being downed. However, the marks on the stator cover are not conclusive to having been laid down. Neutral, oil, & stop lamp lights do not work. (stop lamp not supposed to work to my knowledge except in the case of a brake light system failure of some kind???) Small (approx. 1") tear in seat.
This was a daily driver, and weather permitting, I may continue until it sells. This is an AS-IS purchase only!!! There are no refunds or anything of the nature. I will lose money on this deal, my loss is your gain. Great starter bike for someone. NO SHIPPING, LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! I have a CLEAN and CLEAR title for this motorcycle. Payment in the form of cash or postal money order. You can "test ride" the bike ONLY once it is paid for or $2500.00 is in my hands while you ride!

Seems in line to me....my local shop specializes in older bikes and they are constantly amazed at what the old KZs bring. Looks like a nice bike, good luck with the sale.
