:) So I come to the stop light and go to put my foot down but my shoelace loop gets caught on my foot peg! Holy ****!! Luckily I got my foot free before a really embarrassing moment. Now I ALWAYS tuck my shoelace loops into the side of my shoes. I know what your going to say about wearing boots but we all ride the way we ride. Later,Bing :)

I used to have problems with shoelaces when I was an avid bicyclist. For my motorcycle, I found some inexpensive leather boots that zip up the inside. I can wear them to work even with dress slacks and they look fine. One less thing for me to worry about!

I ALWAYS wear cowboy boots except when I play sports. I set my pedals up for my boots so the few times I've tried to ride in tennis shoes I'm constantly missing the upshifts unless I make shifting more of a conscious thought and less of an automatic response. But, on the plus side, I've never had to worry about the laces on my boots getting hung up.
