My '94 Concours fires right up. It sounds ready to go, 1000ccs of vrooom. Put it in first, let out the clutch and nothing, it dies.
Ok, I learned that Kawasaki sidestand switches work differently than Suzuki switches. Just putting the bike in gear with the stand down kills a Suzuki, the Kawasaki requires you to engage the clutch to kill the engine. That owner's manual is handy.
It took a little WD-40, but now the sidestand switch is behaving. 8)
