Hello,
I have recently purchased a 1995 ZXR400 and after riding it a few days I have noticed that the engine starts smoking after riding for about 15 minutes. I have checked my oil and it seems to be full and there is no problems with the performance of the bike. I am really wondering what the problem might be? Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong??

-Its not a lot of smoke but something is smoking and there is a slight burning smell as well.

Thanks!

Possibly some residual oil in the exhaust system as the result of a previous problem? Sounds like it's only starting to smoke after the exhaust has had time to get hot. Have you ridden it enough to be sure thats not the cause? What color is the smoke?

Yeah that's what I was kind of thinking but wasn't sure. I live in S. Korea so I can't really talk to the mechanics!! Thanks for your input, I will take the fairings off this weekend and see if I can spot the source of the problem!! Thanks again!!!
