Those are some pretty neat pics, photo. Any input on where you were when you took them?
I spend 6 weeks in the Netherlands recently. Also made a trip into Germany.
I looked up my old motorcycle buddies and that's where I made these photos.
The next couple of days a post some more when I have time.
Vintage and antique motorcycles are a big thing in Germany, UK, Holland, Belgium and France.
Almost every weekend there is some kind of a rally within a 300 km square area. It's big money as well. Lots of collectors pay pretty high prices.
One of these Italian racers sold for 9000,00 euros, which amounts to around 13000,00 dollars. If the economy stays good that same bike will bring more in a couple of years. People look at it as investments, as they do here with classic cars.

Zundapp. I owned one of these in the 1960's, I believe this is a later model. There were 1000's of them all over the place, a very popular 50 CC machine with teenagers. Two stroke and you had to mix the oil in your gas because they didn't have oil injection. At some gasstations they sold the gas pre- mixed at the pump.

Out of the factory they would run 50km/hour tops. Most kids would soup them up to go over 110 km/hour. That's a hell of a speed on a little bike like this. Small wonder they were burning holes in the pistons left and right.

In the background you see a bike with the engine on top of the front wheel. Lol.

Those are great! I feel like I've stepped into a museum.
Just my buddies backyard sheds.
One friend actually rents a big shed at a farmers place.
He has 100s of these things stacked in it.
Every weekend he's gone with his motorhome and trailer to some kind of show, swap meat or whatever, sells a bunch of stuff and comes back with something else. In between he restores some of them. Great hobby and you can make money at it at the same time. Instruction books, old brochures, etc. are also hot items.

I did not see any old vintage/classic Kawasakis. :-(

Terrot, a V twin. Made in France.

(note the cable-lock around the front wheel!)
