One of our most beloved members passed away unexpectedly and suddenly this afternoon: Deron Harden (1400pilot). For those of you who never had the privilege of meeting Deron, you missed out on something special. He was the most lovable person I've ever known. He was a fabulous friend. A man who loved life with every ounce of his being. A devoted father (I can't even think about his children without losing it). A dedicated Kawasaki dealer who gave his customers 200%.

For those of us who knew Deron, our loss is beyond description.

His best friend, Norm, will share news of the arrangements with us after they've been made.

So sorry to hear this. I was hoping to meet him in Red Lodge.

So sorry to hear this. From my short time on the forum I felt Deron's posts to be grass roots and I had nothing but the deepest respect for him. My condolences go out to the family. May he rest in peace....Ride on Deron....

1400Pilot's posts were some of the first that I read on this forum. He always had a positive attitude and response for folks. He will be sorely missed.

Very helpful guy.
I think it would be a nice idea to initiate a "Member of the Year", or a "Fallen Friends" memorial folder, and do something nice for his family. I'd be in for a few bucks.

I quickly threw together some pictures of Deron and his kids (some are his, most are mine). Seeing the picture of his hamburger with all the pepper on it made me laugh. Deron sure did love his pepper. That was taken in Yellowstone Park, on our way to the first-ever Red Lodge get-together.

I've seen him around from time to time and he was always the most pleasant of guys. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. His family and friends are in my thoughts.

May there be great comfort from the One who fulfills life.

Shocking when one whose words I've read leaves. May he be riding the streets of gold.
