Alright,
I'm in the shop today doing some minor repairs on my virago and there is this beautiful sportbike without a single badge, emblem, or decal on it. I sit on it and can tell right away that it has been raced and would never get that one but I still like it.

I'm 6 foot 4 inches and close to 300lbs most of the time depending on how many times I work out a week. (typically 4-5 hours)

So I'm used to only fitting cruisers and staying comfortable that way, but I started the bike up and the owner gave me the go ahead to do a few laps on a close by track and I gotta say, I'm impressed with the comfort level.

I'd appreciate some larger and taller people with sportbikes responding with what they have and how they have adjusted.

Handling

GREAT! So what did you test ride? Did the feel of the forward position feel natural and how about the way it slices into corners???

I just rode a customers bike, I have to save for awhile still and owning 1 car and 1 bike is already expensive enough for a college student :)

But I look very very carefully around and will swoop down on the bike I like (and have test rode other friends) once I have the money.

I'll let you guys know what I like when I finally get off my new job.

OH yeah, I can quit complaining I just got a Criminal Justice job of sorts. I've been contacted, interviewed, and hired in the same day as a security specialist, so I work undercover and also audit employees.

JOB

So this worked out good because this job is better than thelast? So tell us what bike WAS it? With the 2005's coming out and the market so messed up you may be in the right place at the right time...

I'm 6'2" and ride a 500R, it fits me just about right, but depending on your leg length it won't fit all that well, or it'll fit perfectly. Look at the suzuki katana 600s, they are very comfortable, and you can find them used very cheap.

6'5", 260lbs, 34" inseam. Could be better, could be worse. But overall not bad. I sat on a new Katana this past week. Felt ok, but not as "comfy" as I would like. I've got my eyes on a ZX10R or a ZX12R. Out of all the Kaw's, they fit me best. Of course, this would be in a year or two. ;)

I'm 6'5" and find my ZX10 to be quite acceptable to me. There are some nagging things about the bike which make it a bit uncomfortable for me. The handle bars are the biggest gripe I have. The angle of the bars causes some issues with my hands and wrists. But the overall seating position isn't too bad. I've down a couple of 200 mile rides since getting the ZX10 and it wasn't really that bad.

Yeah those Buell's arn't for us 6'2" guys, i think they are made more for the shotrter or none 6 footers. My zx6r fits me pretty well but i have longer legs and it can get uncomfortable, ecspecially since my seat sucks.
