Are the stage 3 jet kit with pods and 2-1 exhaust really that hard to get tuned to run better than stock or is there a certain problem that occurs that is hard to get tuned without a dyno? I have no access to a dyno and hardly any tuning experiance.
Are there noticable gains even if it is not tuned spot on? BTW it is a 500EX.

probably much easier with a dyno. You need to have a good idea of how your bike should run, accelerate and such. In the FAQ section there are multiple walkthroughs for ex500 jetting.
