Ok, I go out to start the horse this morning, and the button felt like it was sticking. I had several stops to make so at every stop I had to fight it to get it started. The button hangs (?) every time I push it. I have to push really hard to get it to hit. Do I have to dismantle the bars (94 EX500) to check the inside of the switch? Has anyone else had this problem? This is the first day and first time this has ever happened. The bike starts no prob within one crank revolution. Any ideas?

if you look at the switch pod you will see two phillips screws on the bottom side. pull those screws out and the two halves will come apart. you dont have top pull the throttle cables off. just take some CONTACT CLEANER/ELECTRICAL CLEANER and spray down the contacts etc. inside. look and see why the switch is sticking while there.
good luck
