I recently put a 4 speaker car cd player in my mule. If you own a mule and dont have one, I reccomend it. I dig it. I take the mule down some logging trails and deep woods atv paths and that stereo rocks. If anyone needs any tips on how to do this let me know

I just built a simple overhead box out of 3/8 plywood and ran the wires to the battery it was easy....as soon as I figure out how to put up a picture i will
I'm 15 and want a stereo in my mule, dad says I might have big problems with the CD skipping, plus I go mudding quite often and there is not a dry spot on me or my mule at the end of the day. Having tunes would be a hoot! Have you had any problems. Thanks
i built this for the bed of my Mule...it has a remote controlled deck, (2) 6x9's, a power antenna, and a 300wt amp(recessed on the back)...mine's big because i use it for outside music for my toy hauler also....
the skip resistance of a good CD deck is amazing...i was going down washboard roads this weekend at 32 mph and mine didn't skip...i have a 20A fuse that protects all the componants and it hasn't blown....
i live in the desert and mud is not an issue here...i'm waiting on a marine cover for the deck to keep out the dust...get yourself some marine speakers and deck enclosure and you'll be good to go...life's better with music...have fun...
here is something that might help get you started...
just another tip...if you build some type of enclosure yourself, consider covering it with roll on bedliner from the auto parts store...
i was going to cover my box with marine vinyl when medicmule posted pics of his rear bed he recently applied that stuff on...i spent a little more time getting my box super smooth and rolled a quart of that stuff on...i feel it's the perfect covering for something like this...it won't rip, chip, crack, fade, peel, etc..waterproof....i used Herculiner and it stuck great to the plywood...it should last 2 days past forever...i'm really happy with the decision to put this stuff on....thanks for the inspiration medicmule ...
