I will be receiving the front pulley in a couple days and have scheduled with my Kaw dealer for the install. How many of you who have the front sprocket installed it yourself or had a Kawasaki dealer install it. Or, did you have and independent shop do it. Did anyone have a dealer(or indy) refuse to install it because it wasn't just like a stock part or said they couldn't get it to fit like the stock unit? Just wonderin'.

Installed myself, few weeks ago. Only minor issue I had was tire rubbing a bit on splash shield - I lowered bike 2 inches. Shortened shield a bit.

Took mine to my dealership. Quick work and good price. Love the result!

Only problem was getting the 27mm pulley bolt off, had to take it to a tire shop to loosen it. I had the same situation with the 27mm axle bolt when I first bought it - the rear wasn't aligned and the belt whined at certain speeds.

I took mine to the dealer, changed it for 30.00 in a half hour while I waited. Couldn't see wrestling with it for 30 bucks.
